Well, the old saying SIMSBORING is out the window! I know we townfolk that have been here for years used to call it that when in our school years, However, today's Simsbury is ANYTHING but boring these days! There is pratically an event, concert, fundraiser or game to go to nearly every weekend throughout the year! This weekend Simsbury brought back it's beloved weekend event known as "SEPTEMBERFEST!" Always the weekend after Labor Day, it's a great time for everyone in town to get together, try all our fabulous restaurants, check out the local businesses and let's be honest just catch up with old friends on a beautiful September evening.
It was always a good time for everyone and unfortunately, it was put to a stop a few years ago. THANKFULLY, we have some of our civil servants making an effort to bring back the charm that we now all realized we had grown to love way back when we used to call it SimsBORING! May that saying forever rest in peace. Keep your eyes on our weekly blog for local events coming up throughout the week in Simsbury and the surrounding Farmington Valley. There's always something to do whether your a single, married couple, retiree, or child! We will keep you posted. You can access all information on our website as well!
