Meathead Movers of San Luis Obispo CA was started back in 1997 by two youngsters who were only 15 and 17 years old. Evan and Aaron Steed had strong backs, lots of friends and all were willing to please. They started moving furniture after school and on weekends. Starting out, Meathead Movers did not even have a billing schedule, but asked their clients to pay them what they felt what they thought they deserved.
They also did not even have a driver's license then, so they had to beg for rides from people they knew to move their client's furniture. The name Meathead originally began as a joke, based on the nickname bestowed upon athletes working out in the high school weight room, but the guiding principles and goals of the Steed brothers were never a joking matter. The company now handles well over 3,000 moves per year, making it the largest moving company in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
