Are we operating under a “pandect”?

Are we operating under a “pandect”?

No I don’t think we are because this is changing every year.  The attorneys need to have something to do and they are good at it.  The problem I have is the agents who make these possible and required.  Now for the meaning of (pan’dekt) a complete body of laws; legal code.  The laws keep changing because of agents doing something they know they shouldn’t do and therefore making it possible for the law to change or a new one to be enacted.     What say you?

Hi James - the government with laws and regulations solve one problem but usually creates four others.

James - it's usually hard to stump me with words, but this one is not one I've seen before. I think, however, it could be used correctly as: The top 3 foreclosure firms in FL created their own pandect in order to process foreclosures more quickly!

Hello James,

There is a Pandect in every law office in the country. More so with the Tax law attornery's that deal with just tax laws. There are over one million pages just to the tax codes and laws.

Crazy huh.

Have  a great day my friend, Clint McKie

The more people find "ways around" the law...the more laws are enacted....it's a vicious circle.

Good morning James. I think this is an over simplification. Agents generally do their best and so do attorneys. Change happens for any number of reasons and pointing at people is no solution.

I think many laws are written with the intention of being misinterpreted: Thus more lawsuits and longer lawsuit to try and determine what was meant.

We continue to see new laws passed by legislators seeking a sense of purpose or hoping to get re-elected so they don't ave to get a job in this economy!
