Here's the August 2011 update on Home Sales in Johnstown CO:

August 2011 Johnstown CO Home Sales

August Property sales were 26, up 23.8% from 21 in August of 2010 and 13.0% higher than the 23 sales last month. August 2011 sales were at a mid level compared to August of 2010 and 2009. August year-to-date sales of 191 are running 36.4% ahead of last year's year-to-date sales of 140.

August 2011 Johnstown CO Home Prices

The Median Sales Price in August was $220,344, up 7.5% from $205,000 in August of 2010 and up 3.7% from $212,500 last month. The Average Sales Price in August was $223,467, up 8.6% from $205,690 in August of 2010 and up 0.1% from $223,200 last month. The August 2011 Average Sales Price was at the highest level compared to August of 2010 and 2009.

August 2011 Johnstown CO Home Inventory

The Total Inventory of Properties available for sale as of August was 122, up 18.4% from 103 last month and down 20.3% from 153 in August of last year. August 2011 Inventory was at a mid level compared with August of 2010 and 2009. The Average Days On Market for August was 72, up 20.0% from 60 days last month and down 29.4% from 102 days in August of last year. The August 2011 Average Days On Market was at its lowest level compared with August of 2010 and 2009.

The Johnstown CO real estate market is showing some signs of improvement - sales, prices and inventory were all up slightly. However, it remains a good time to look for good homes at bargain prices.
