Having had a bad experience with a "pig in lipstick" reno., Selling By Design-Staging was somewhat gun shy when an agent called and said she had an investor client who had two homes that needed staging asap.We had vowed never to stage a remodel that was not something in which we could live, but agreed to see the properties.
What a pleasant surprise! This investor had done quality work. The homes looked fresh, clean and ready for sale. He also knew the value of adding the WOW factor by having the houses professionally staged.
We kept the staging simple, but achieved the desired effect. The owner and agent were pleased.
The homes, both entry level, each received offers within a week of going on the market. Both have now closed.
