Unhappy SubscriberI am in receipt of your complaint.

Please accept my humble apologies for the boring content of my blog lately. As it is, more or less, the beginning of the month, I must satisfy the demands of the marketplace by posting monthly market reports and getting Google to notice how relevant and timely is the information I am strewing across cyberspace for all eternity. If I am able to impress Google with my offerings, I will be rewarded with preferential placement in Google searches, resulting in many people buying houses from me. I will become fabulously wealthy and the envy of all my peers. I will drive a fancy car and eat in fine restaurants. My words and actions will be noticed and remarked upon. I will be famous.

Thus, your demands for cheap entertainment pale in comparison to the rewards promised by my dedication to the admittedly crass goal of amassing Google juice. However, I hear your plea and I am not insensitive to your needs. Very soon now, I will run out of cities and neighborhoods which require my attention, at least for the remainder of this month. I will then be forced to write of other, less worthy topics that you might find more engaging. Until then, I appreciate your patience and your support.

And for you freaks that actually like to read market reports - don't worry, we'll be back with lots more in early October.

There's nothing like laying out the truth. It's always good to know others are suffering through the same monthly market data analysis rehash...and how about having to repeat your city and state 6-8 times in a blog for the google gods to pick up? Kinda puts a kabash on creative writing! Thanks for the Monday humor.

Can you imagine if Kiplinger spent more time on entertaining and less time on informing?  Who would subscribe to their stuff?  The fact that someone commented on your dry spell is certainly a testament to the power of your writing.  I've been jonesing for a juicy post about your most recent observations of our industry and its participants.  Stop playing with that spider and get back to your primary role as provocateur extraordinaire!

Dick - market reports are indeed boring I do them - I hate them - but I do them anyway - I try not to do a lot just enough

Market reports are great, if you make them rich in keyword phrases so Google picks them up and the public finds them!
