I am currently reading a book titled 'POWER THOUGHTS' by Joyce Meyer. I am slowly reading more as a devotional to help set my mind on the right path in the morning.
There are so many distractions that come up daily that can throw us off or cause are thinking to be negative, and I at times have felt I have a strong mindset. Lately I have sense that I needed to reinvest time in my mindset. Thus, I am reading this book.
POWER THOUGHT #1 : I can do whatever I need to do in life through Christ.
"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength," (Philippians 4:13)
Now what Joyce suggests is to take time daily to meditate on this. Say it out loud and think it as much as you can. This way when something challenging comes your way soon this thought will come to mind. You will find yourself saying I can DO THIS (whatever the THIS is). And you knowing that Christ can do all things by your faith won't have to say BUT I CAN'T do THIS because your doing it through Christ.
I do believe in the power of Jesus Christ in my life and know that I can do ALL THINGS through him. I have not perfected my faith to the point that I do all things right or perfectly. However, part of growing in faith is believing his word and allowing it to work in your life. To do that you need to KNOW His word.
