Unplanned

I had not anticipated writing a blog this morning so this is really spontaneous. I did not feel like postponing the inevitable - my climb to the number 5 spot in our city. Visibility is important after all. It has been attributed to none other than Mary Kay that she once said that if you're a genius and nobody knows it then you might as well not be a genius. It's true that cream rises to the top - even if it seems to take forever. Credibility is important, except, perhaps, in politics. Da Vinci thought he had died a failure because most of what he achieved was not widely known during his lifetime. It did not stay hid for long. If we do our best (and do it honestly and responsibly) and our best turns out to be pretty good, then the word will get around.
