ActiveRain Blog Post with an iPad. I am on the road this weekend and only brought along my iPad. Since I am taking part in the 30 days in September localism posting Challenge on Activerain I still needed to be able to write my daily blog post. I have noticed for several months that I have been able to leave comments on other posts using my iPad that I was not able to do before without being logged-in in tablet mode. So, I figured I should also be able to now actually write a post using only my iPad. Well it does work. It is just kind of plain since I cannot do any formatting. I am sure there is an app similar to Scribefire that would allow me to change formatting, font and type size, but for just making a quick post this works fine.

Doesn't matter on the formatting Doug......you're at least using the IPAD for A.R.  Kudos!

This is good information. My co-worker showed me ActiveRain on her IPad and it looked better then the computer screen.

I have yet to try to post via my iPad.

One thing came to mind which I will try later is.....

I use my iPad to log into my MacBook via LogMeIn Ingnition and think I should be able to post with my Mac
via iPad remote control???

Good job figuring this out in the iPad.  There should be an app available for bloggers to be able to add photos, edit and change type fonts.  Someone will share, hopefully.  Thanks for the post.

Doug, You've got to install the Flipboard app on your iPad and experience viewing ActiveRain via that app.  You'll never want to veiw it any other way.

I also noticed recently that I could start posting comments from the ipad...

It doesn't have (or maybe I just don't know) the functionality of a regular computer....but maybe it's just a matter os knowing how to do it.

Maybe someone has already posted the how-to...and I just missed it

Larry - My iPad now goes everywhere with me. I cannot read long term on my iPhone. James - I really enjoy using the iPad for reading sites like Activerain. I can do it anywhere with comfort. Those comments are being made on it. Susan - I will be spending some time on this I am sure. There is a solution out there, I just have to find it. Sid - I would think it would work fine with a remote program, I just want it to work fully stand alone. Doug - I have found some great apps, it's just none directly support Activerain. I am sure someone here has found the answer though and hopefully will share. Ronald - I didn't want to miss out on the challenge, since I am over half way through.

Mykel - I have had Flipboard for a long time, but never thought about using it for Activerain. I will be trying it out.
