Ann, The year-over-year market comparison of homes sold in Vestavia Hills is impressive.  Sales are up; days on market are down; and the percent gap between list price and sales price has decreased. The price range suggests that there is something for everyone in Vestavia Hills.

Great snapshot of the what's happenin' now in your area's real estate market, Ann!  Your numbers seem indicative of what is going on around many areas of the country.  Values a little lower than last year, but taking a little less time to sell, as homebuyers are taking advantage of the opportunities available to them.

Ann, it does seem that buyers are getting off the fence and taking advantage of the 40-year low mortgage rates. Prices, too, have come down, I see, much the same in our area in and around Philadelphia and northern Delaware.
