Good morning Judi -

First of all great Localism post.  Second this is actually on our bucket list to do.  My wife's family in Phoenix come yearly for the Salmon run and have peaked our interest.  We've committed to going with them next year.

Make it a great Sunday and best regards from the Q

Looks cold and wet. But it would probably be worth it for some fresh Salmon.

Hi Michael~ It's all a frame of mind. I was in the countryside yesterday, walking through a forty acre pasture on a lake, the serenity and solitude of this place were all encompassing, making me realize it was a joyful place to be!

Today, I walked downtown with my husband and dog. the beauty of the architecture, and magnificent sights to see made me realize it was a joyful place to be...

Love this salmon celebration. I think it's so important to honor this important resource. Our fish represent the condition of our environments too...great barometers of how we're doing...

( I just got home from Bend - visiting my two little grand-babies  - bet you're looking forward to seeing yours soon)
