Screen Captures – Snipping Tool for Bloggers in Windows

Here is a great tool for screen captures that I came across called the snipping toolsnipping tool and what an easy tool to use. Perfect tool for bloggers like us.  It helps us grab screenshots for our blogs and even grab an aerial image from google maps. Check out Craigs classroom graphics for bloggers for other great ideas on how to use these screen capture tools for real estate.  He shows a little video that is a great add on for a virtual tour.

To find the snipping tool go to the windows start bar just type snipping tool in the search box and click on it.  It gives you the ability to capture the full screen, a rectangle, or custom shape and then save the image or email it.  You can even create a keyboard shortcut for the snipping tool so you can easily pull it up whenever you want.  I have been using it a lot and love it.

Jeremy... I have been wondering how to do that for a very long time.  Now... if I can just figure out how to follow your directions... I will try it out.

I use that tool all the time. The best thing is that it is free and easy to use.

By the way... I see that you have NOT included this post in any of the Active Rain Groups.  I then went to your profile page to see how many groups you belonged to.  Only three.  Not a good plan... if what you are looking for is visibility for your blog posts.

Active Rain encourages you to include your posts in up to a maximum of five Active Rain Groups.  This puts it on FIVE blogrolls... and gives it as much as five times the visibility as only one group.

How to pick groups ?  Go to some of the most successful bloggers in your area.  See what Groups they belong to.  Look at the groups... and then pick about twenty.  Different ones... so you can change around the groups you included your posts in... depending on your subject matter.  Look at any of my posts... and you will see five groups below it.  It works.

Just giving a friendly hint, here.   Using the Active Rain "Groups" Feature
