Location: Rady Park in the Town of Warrenton is located at 725 Fauquier Road Warrenton, VA 20186. For those familiar with the area, it's about half a mile from Highland School in a quaint neighborhood nearby.
Description: Rady Park is a community park that offers a playground with swings, picnic tables, a pavilion that you can reserve through Fauquier County, soccer fields, baseball fields, and a volleyball facility. Personal Experience: Rady Park is a wonderful place to bring your children for play, have a picnic, or take a walk. I have enjoyed Rady Park for several years. It has always been a friendly park to visit with my kids. I have conversed with many Moms and their children at Rady Park. There are several shaded areas to sit. There's a shallow creek that the kids enjoy stomping their feet in when it's a hot, summer day. Four swings were added in the past few years and has brought much delight to the kids. There are plenty of open, grassy fields for the children to run and burn up some energy (always a good thing!). My daughter was baptized in August and we held her celebration at Rady Park. I reserved the picnic pavilion for approximately $50 for half a day. It holds about 7-8 picnic tables under a shelter. You do need to reserve it in advance. The sooner the better because a lot of community members use it for various reasons; baptisms, birthday parties, family reuinons, and church functions. I've always been pleased with the clean up efforts in the shelter. It's definitely worth checking out!
