After years of pilates training and experiencing the life-changing effects it had on her, Lisa Gratale (director & principal pilates teacher) wanted to carry on the authentic teachings of Joseph Pilates and make his method accessible to those in the Bergen County area... And so, 'energy' was born!
Since its inception in 1998, energy has become the area's premier center for Authentic Pilates and has had the privilege of training Olympic athletes, Opera singers, Philharmonic musicians, Broadway actors, directors, the Rockettes, & music producers, to name a few. Lisa was trained and certified in Authentic Pilates by Romana Kryzanowaska in New York City at Drago's.
