Hello ActiveRain members. Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I'm very excited to be working with the ActiveRain community. Please bear with me for the next few weeks as I get up to speed on all the great work Mark has done.
Thought I would share a little information about myself and my background. I've been with Kodak for 27 years. Always on the consumer side of the business in a Marketing Communications role. My responsibilities have included consumer packaging and collateral development, advertising both broadcast and radio for many different products over the years; i.e., photofinishing working with Bill Cosby, 35 mm cameras, one-time-use cameras, Advantix film, digital cameras and accessories, inkjet papers, printers, and inks. The last month or so I've been working on e-business activities which include social media so I'm getting up to speed on Facebook, Twitter, etc., etc. It's a huge learning curve but very interesting and I'm hoping it will be fun in the weeks and months to come.
Outside of work I spend the majority of time with my 17 year old son, who is a senior this year. He races motocross here in upstate NY with the WNYRacing motocross organization. This is his 4th year racing and prior to motocross it was hockey so there has never been a dull moment. My nerves are shot as you can imagine come Sunday night but we love it and it certainly is great family bonding experience. I'm an animal lover and have 3 dogs - Dozier, an English bulldog, Brutus an American bulldog, and Shy Shy, a white German Sheppard.
OK now back to work! I know Mark has shared the new KODAK AiO HERO Printers product introduction and their new cloud-ready capabilities including KODAK Email Print. I also know that not all of you are ready to buy a new printer so I just want to make sure you are all aware that our KODAK ESP 300 Series and our ESP Office 2100 Series are also "cloud ready" meaning you can print directly to these printers from any device that has an internet connection. More information is available at www.kodak.com/go/cloudreadyprinters.
For those of you that own an older KODAK All-in-One Printers. No problem. All you need to do is install the KODAK Cloud Print Software Connector on a PC or MAC connected legacy printer, and you will be ready to print. It's an easy upgrade thats gets you the latest printing technology. More information is available atwww.kodak.com/go/cloudprinting
It's easy and free and, as always, you'll save when you print with your KODAK All-in-One Printer.
Thank you.
