Inaction is an Action

Motivational Power Quote

Inaction is an Action

“Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence.

Inaction is not only the result, but the cause of fear.

Perhaps the action you take will be successful;

perhaps different action or adjustments

will have to follow, but any action is better than

no action at all.”

Norman Vincent Peale, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Inaction is an action

If you choose to take no action you leave the outcome to someone else to choose for you.

Inaction is the action of doing nothing.

The lack of action can be traced back to one of several things.

At the top of the list is either a lack of confidence in their decisions making, or there’s a choice to procrastination. In either case you would have made a decision not to act. In both cases inaction will become the silent killers of hope and careers.

The single biggest reason that a person elects not to take action is fear.

The fear of either making a mistake or the fear of failure will paralyze a person into inaction.

Taking action is a far better choice than taking no action at all. By taking action you will build your confidence and self esteem to step of our comfort and to take the actions that are required.

Inaction is the action not to make a choice to act.

note that the act of doing nothing could sometimes be looked upon as 'inaction' or it could be considered an action in and of itself.  it would come down down whether you were doing it purposefully and if it was determined to be your best option at the time.

Lou, you are on target - when one cannot take decision, someone else will take on their behalf - good or bad. And one has to accept it!

Much better to have tried and failed then to never have tried at all. Enjoy your day!

There is nothing wrong with failing when you try but there is something wrong with failing to try.
