Elephant Appreciation Day, dont't forget

One of the best true stories ever written is the book Modoc: The True Story of the Greatest Elephant That Ever Lived by Ralph Helfer. An incredible story talking about the bond a young boy develops with a young elephant.Unforgettable story is more like it. If you like to pick up a great heart wrenching story, pick this one up.

They say an elephant never forgets. And I don’t want anyone to forget that September 22nd is Elephant Appreciation Day!

Elephants are a symbol of wisdom in Asian cultures and are famed for their memory and intelligence.

They also show us what can happen when old ideas and beliefs remain unchallenged.

When elephants are young and in captivity, they are chained with thick ropes to ensure they don’t escape. As they get older, those shackles are kept the same size… and the elephant never thinks to challenge the strength of the shackles. All they have to do is challenge it once and it would quickly dissolve under the immense power of these giants.

Which is just like the way much of the business world is… unchallenged.

We don’t see things like the majority of others do – so We went out, found a solution, and created a whole new way of doing things.

You see, we dealt with boomers and seniors before in our real estate business.Elephant Appreciation Day, dont't forgetWe could tell that the training we received wasn’t sufficient for the unique needs of Boomers and Seniors. They didn’t want to be treated like just anyone.we wanted to provide true value to them, but wasn’t prepared or trained properly.

So We sought out the best Age Friendly Training company. Peter registered with them and took their intensive training program on how to treat boomers and seniors with respect and professionalism.

Proudly, we are now able to say that Peter is a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging. The training I had was with Age Friendly Business… the world leader in training for professional and ethical dealings with seniors and boomers.

We  broke the traditional mold used in Real Estate and we love it… so do our clients.

And we challenge you to demand more and press yourself to push the boundaries.

Then let us know what you find.

So just  like the elepahnt that never forgets...... when you think Real Estate in Victoria, think........

Hi Joni,

The SRES is a very good course, but the CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) as it is called in the USA, is a much better total education in assisting Seniors with their decisions in life.
