Mark your calendar now! This weekend in Canton, GA the Riverfest Arts & Crafts Festival will be held at Boling Park.
This is the 26th year for this event sponsored by The Service League of Cherokee County and is sure to be a success. You will enjoy more than 150 vendors displaying their arts and crafts. You can enjoy live entertainment and a unique children's area. The hours will be on Saturday (9-24) from 10-6 and on Sunday (9-25) from 10-5.
Admission for the event is $5.00 per person.
I found the background of the sponsoring organization on their website. ”The Service League of Cherokee County was formed more than 70 years ago as a non-profit organization made up of women representing all areas of Cherokee County. It is the oldest service organization in the community. All monies raised by the Service League through the annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Show, 5K Run for the Children, cookbook and other fund raisers are directed to underprivileged children of CherokeeCounty.”
