Yes indeed that's how we looked at the wildfires that we got to enjoy amazing sunsets.  Some days were rough the smoke, dust and soot was so thick it looked like nighttime.  Those were bummer days but we're grateful for all the firefighters and volunteers did to keep everyone safe.

Glad you could drop by today.  Albuquerque is known for it's fabulous sunsets but the smoke, ash, soot and dust brought by the wildfires really made most afternoons brilliant with color.

Good to see you today.  Yes Raton had a big fire to contend with.  I couldn't agree with you more I hope we've seen the last of wildfires for a long, long time to come.  We are still in dire need of moisture so we're praying and doing rain dances anything to bring it on.

Yes we always look forward to Albuquerque's amazing sunsets.  The fires just intensified the colors and beauty.  You're right the 3rd photo does look upside down.  A break in the clouds and smoke created that cool effect.

You are right sir pollutants do cause many side effects in the atmosphere.  I guess the only positive thing I can think of are amazing and brilliant sunsets.

Yes with you being in LA you must have seen some awesome sunsets too.  Sad that it is caused from such devastation.  I guess it's just Mother Natures way of letting us know there is a silver lining and to keep the faith.
