Every year, the Department of Education puts out an AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) report for every school district in the state. If you want to check on the status of any school district at every level in relation to state standards, visit http://www.ode.state.or.us/data/reportcard/reports.aspx for all the data. 
What you see below is just a screenshot of some summary data for Corvallis School District. If you are unfamiliar with the state standards, you are not alone. A teacher client of ours explained that many districts struggle to have even half their students meeting state standards. Last year, the threshold for scoring in a couple areas became more difficult so that the data is skewed slightly downward after the rubric change. What you will notice below is that district-wide, we are different. Most kids are meeting standards, regardless of the scoring standards becoming more rigorous. This is one more reason why Corvallis, Oregon is a desireable place to live and work. Good people are getting the job done for kids, and they are thriving because of it.
