Raleigh Realtors - Where's the feedback?

I understand how hectic it can be showing properties.

I understand that emailing feedback within 24 hours can be impossible at times.

But don't we all have the time within 72 hours to provide feedback?

Buyers Agents -

Maybe you just don't understand the importance.

  • Sellers need to know the honest opinion of buyers.
  • Sellers want to sell their homes.
  • Sellers are curious as to why their homes are not selling.
  • Sellers are willing to make changes to help sell their homes.
  • Sellers don't want to have an overpriced listing.
  • Sellers don't always know their homes need some love.

I try my best to provide feedback to every request. I may not do it immediatly but will within 72 hours.

I also wonder that same question - Where is my feedback?  I have also tried to call the other agents to get the feedback but by the time you get ahold of them they have forgot about your house.  But, on the other side of that coin - I have sometimes forgot a house after showing my clients 20 or 30 homes.  After seeing that many its tough to remember ANYTHING. 

I do feel your pain Rebecca and I just wanted you to know that it is happening everywhere.  As a profession we need to get better at this and we owe each other this professional courtesy.

You are right after 30 houses they do start blending. So my rule of thumb so that the LA doesn't get grief from Mr, and Mrs. Seller I say home shows well but my clients are still looking.

Lets face it with the amount of inventory on the market it is hard to remember every house. But we do remember the stand outs the good, the bad and the ugly.

Most agents don't give feedback due to possible lawsuits......I've seen it happen twice.

Lawsuits are you serious? Man my sellers are on me about feedback before the buyer is even back in the car. I guess it would be different if it could be 100% anonymous.

We feel your pain and frustration.  Getting feedback these days is like pulling teeth without Novocaine.  It shows that lack of respect, training and professionalism that exists in our industry.  Wish there was something we could do to change it.
