Bluetooth Headsets

BluetoothThis morning, I read a review of Bluetooth headsets at Cnet. I am on my 3rd headset and have not been pleased with any of them. Is there anyone that has a Bluetooth headset that performs well? Even better, are there any Treo users that have found a good match.

I current use the motorola H700 with the treo 650. It's so light and comfortable I don't know I have it on my ear. I found it on pricegrabber.com for $35.00 from celguys. I checked if it was a knock off and it's not. Be careful when buying online and make sure it;'s not a knock off

I have this same headset as you Robert.  Maybe it's the area I live in but I get crackling going on 50% of the time.  Folks on the other line are a bit annoyed because they can't hear me.  Like I said it could be the area I live in.  I seem to get the best results from my plug in ear piece but I'm not ready to give up on Bluetooth just yet.

I have a Blackberry 8700g phone.  I love my bluetooth headset for it.  Works very well.  Only after about 45+ minutes on your ear, it can feel a little heavy on your ear, not noticeable otherwise.

However, it works great, never had an issue.  Actually the only thing I would want better is if the volume would remain from the previously used setting.  People I talk to do not believe I am talking to them through bluetooth, as it's very clear.

It is the Bluesonic RL9-HCBO8.

I have the Jabra, no problems and have never had a problem with it.  Had a motorola that I despised, would always keep shutting itself down.  I have the Treo 700W.

I have the Treo 650 and I think i've bought and trashed every headset out there.  I was getting a horrible echo on that Motorola headset, the Jabra ones crap out too fast, the Plantronics is the best so far but it needs some noise cancellation or something, I get a lot of complaints from folks on the other end of the line.  May try that Jawbone that Don mentioned. I want the Treo 750 but until Supra gets the patch ready, no reason to trade up.

I have tried both a Plantronics and a Motorola with my Treo 650 and neither worked well enough for me to keep them. They both worked on my wife's Katana so there must be something in my bluetooth radio.

Plantronics works well. When I first answer the phone however, the sound is low then immediatelys jumps up in a few seconds. annoying.
