Things to do in Cary by the Cary Concierge…NSSF Great American Cross Country Festival

You may remember this event at the WakeMed soccer park back in 2003 continuing through 2005. The Great American Cross Country Festival returns again this year in the hopes that the increase in spectators it has seen over the past few years continues to grow. Some even say that not only is Cary an exciting venue, but possibly the best course in the country. The goal of the NSSF (National Scholar Sports Foundation) is to help junior athletes who cannot pay travel expenses. All young student athletes in high school should have the opportunity to go on meets with their team regardless of cost. The NSSF welcomes all high school athletes and college athletes as well to become a part of the Great American Cross Country Festival and help out other students who want the same chance to excel in their sport.
