Vail Valley Hike, Wine & Dine a Successful Fundraiser!
I had the pleasure of volunteering at a great event in the Vail Valley this morning, Hike Wine & Dine, a fundraiser for Jack’s Place, a cancer caring house located in my town of Edwards, CO. Jack’s Place is such a wonderful opportunity for patients and their families to stay during treatment at the Shaw Cancer Center. We are very blessed to have this in our Vail Valley.
The hike drew over 300 participants who all hiked the 4-mile trail at Beaver Creek Mountain. Participants were welcomed this morning with mimosas and breakfast burritos during registration, and then treated to gourmet foods by local restaurants along the trail. The day ended with wine, crab cakes and dessert at the base of the mountain.
It was the perfect day for the event! Fun was had by all and the proceeds go to a great cause. What a great day to live in the Vail Valley!
