Our first speaking engagement!

Real Estate Agent with New Home Team VA#0225195155

Right about one year ago, we left a small independent Bedford brokerage for Keller Williams. It has been a great move! We got a much better split, our business has doubled, and Keller Williams gives many tools / training. We are part of a group who is launching a new Market Center and one day we traveled to the Midlothian VA Market Center right after it opened to tour it. During out talk, the team leader liked what we had to say, so she has asked up to come speak to her agents.

So, this week, we are going to talk about how using the tools/ training provided by Keller Williams has made such a positive impact on our business. I can't stand talking to large groups..so I am a bit nervous... Any suggestions on how to over come nervousness?

Anyway, wish us luck!

You'll do fine-especially with Keller Williams having your back.  Remember, you are the one who has the courage to be up there in front taking the risk, and the people sitting in the audience are all grateful they aren't in your shoes. :-)   Take a deep breath and ENJOY!

Hi Scott.  Congratulations.  Don't think of it as a speech.  Think of it as a conversation with a close friend.  If you're excited about the things you're talking about, the excitement will come through.  You speak of the impact the tools had on your business - that's the exciting part to me.

Best of luck.

As a former Market Center owner myself I can tell you what has helped me before . .  I ask the audience questions. .I'm prepared and they are not.. .

As far as partnerships. . you are marrying those people, make sure you have a great pre-nuptial agreement. .enough said

Sounds like you made a great move...took advantage of some of the tools Keller Williams offers its agents...had some great success...and now a team leader recognizes you have a fantastic story to tell that she hopes will motivate some of the agents in her market center. Just be yourself and share your experiences. If you are excited about the things that have happened it will shine through and be well received...No worries!
