The Silhouette of a Saguaro at sunrise in Tucson, Arizona

Tucson: The Land of Beautiful Sunsets

With my careeer in Real Estate I often get the opportunity to introduce someone to this beautiful city called Tucson.  I feel like somewhat of a tour guide at times.  While driving around I try to find out what people are most interested in and point out the advantages of Tucson in respect to those interests.  Hiking, eating, cycling, off-roading, bird-watching, and shopping are all subjects that I never really thought I would address when my career in real estate began.  I try to point out the best of all of these.  Am I selling real estate or trying to sell people on Tucson?  One thing I never have to even point out is our amazing sunsets.  If they're new to Tucson, they usually bring it up during their visit.  More often than once a simple sunset has solidified a buyer's decision to move here rather than somewhere else.

And here's why:

A spectacular sunset with a saguaro in the foreground and the Catalina Mountains in the distance getting soaked by a monsoon downpour

The last rays of the sun hit this saguaro as the sun disappears over the horizon in Saguaro National Park east of Tucson, Arizona

The sky burns like fire as the sun sets in Saguaro National Park east of Tucson, Arizona.

The silhouette of a large saguaro stands watch at sunset in Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona with the Catalina Mountains in the distance.

The sun's rays mix with a slight sprinkle to turn the sky a vivid orange at sunset in Tucson, Arizona.

Some unusual clouds make for an interesting sunrise in Saguaro National Park east of Tucson, Arizona.

Streaks of red, yellow and blue light up the sky at sunset in Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona

The sun's rays burst through a group of saguaros in Saguaro National Park west of Tucson, Arizona

The sun sets over the Tucson Mountains west of Tucson, Arizona

Tucson's city lights and the sunset make for an amazing display of color and light when viewed from the mountains above

An incredible array of colors shot across the sky during this sunrise on the east side of Tucson, Arizona
