I've been away, but I am back to stay!
When I first moved to Georgia in 1989 I settled in Cumming because I loved the fact that it was a small, town with a “country” feel that still allowed me easy access to mid-town Atlanta where I worked.
At that time, Cumming was not the “in” place to live, but that’s what I loved about it!
Over the years I have watched the area grow dramatically. Now offering high-end shopping and dining as well as upscale, gated communities filled with luxury homes, the area still holds on to its country roots and that’s why I love it still today.
In 2002, my husband and I moved to a rural area in the north Georgia mountains (Blue Ridge, GA) to start a business. We enjoyed our business and we loved that area but, when our son was ready for middle school, the fantastic south Forsyth school system beckoned us back “home”.
Even during our time in Blue Ridge we were never far from Forsyth County for long so we witnessed the passing of an era and embraced the upgrades to the education system and area infrastructure. When the time was right for our family, we knew that Cumming, GA was the best choice for us and I know that it will be for your family too!
