What a unique way to make a difference on the most important day in someone's life! Every girl dreams of that special day and that special gown. Brides against Breast Cancer has received more than 50,000 wedding gown donations with an estimated value of over 4 million dollars.

More than half of these gowns are new DESIGNER gowns directly from designers, manufacturers and bridal retailers. If you are looking to donate gowns, slips or veils that are from 2005 or newer, you too can help make someone's dream wedding become a reality.

I don't quite make the connection.

I guess a bride donates her gown just because it is a good cause?

Then the group sells the gown to fund their activities?

Phil-Joni- I believe these are gowns for women with cancer who can't afford to buy a gown "of their dreams". They probably do sell gowns here there too.
