The Perry Haunted Barn – Halloween in Perry GA

The Perry Haunted Farm - Halloween - Anita Clark RealtorLocated near where a makeshift Civil War hospital stood, and many soldiers died of their wounds, The Perry Haunted Barn has history on its side as a spooky place…but is it *gulp* haunted?

Come out every Friday and Saturday night starting Sept 30th and brave the spooktacular event for yourself! Running 8:00pm-midnight both days each weekend in October, they kick it up a gear and open the same hours on Oct 27th – 31st.

Cost: $13. Bring a can of food and get a $1 off. Military with ID get $2 discount. NOT recommended for children 12 and under.

For an additional $5, check out the “Barn Attic”, if you dare!

Location: 2235 U.S. Highway 41 N.

All proceeds will go to the Perry Players and Perry Outreachr. All canned foods will be donated to local food banks so bring as many cans as you want. In fact, bring 100 cans of food and get 4 admission tickets! If vampires don’t scare you, give blood during the blood drive and get admitted for free too.

For more specific details, call Piper at (478) 319-1048.

As always, middle Georgia community events are provided as a courtesy by your Warner Robins Real Estate Specialist – Anita Clark.

Oh, that sounds like fun, Anita.   It's been a long time since I've been in one of those. That is a really great picture.  I love it.

Neat image.... must have been one big pumkin, jack o lantern. One of my favorite holidays with the kids to tramp, wearing costumes and collecting candy.  We have a haunted hay ride that is pretty scary and a good fund raiser for the local recreation program. Got me excited about that now.

Anita, It's definitely that BOO time of year again!  Our area haunted houses are starting to open, and Target was packed with Halloween stuff the other day.

Anita - the haunted barn sounds like fun and very affordable too!  I think Halloween is one of my favorite holidays - so much fun for the kids as well as good for bringing out the "Kid" in adults.

Anita, Sounds like a "FUN" event in Perry GA. Just started writing about one of our Halloween events but reading about the Perry Haunted Barn and the proceeds going to some worthy causes is not spooky at all!

Anita, it is that time of year where the haunted houses are getting ready to scare the wits out of you.   This one must be good if those under 12 are not allowed!

Anita, I love the pumkin carving. Sadly, we don't get as many kids at our door any more.

Anita - The Perry Haunted Barn in Perry GA sounds like a great way to celebrate fall and Halloween for the whole family. That is one of the coolest looking pumpkins I've ever seen. Every year each person in my family gets a pumpkin kit and we all carve really cool pumpkins - this have given me a great idea!

It is that time of year Andrew.  Have fun.

BLiz...the stores have stuff in them so early these days.

Ginny...I love the fact they are donating the proceeds.

Barbara...definitely a ghoulishly good time to be had.  ;-)

Larry/Sheila...I know, right.  HA.

Teenagers will be here all the time Dorie.

Joan:  I hear it is very scary.

Evan...our neighborhood did not have many out last year either.

Thanks Keith.  Have a great day.  ;-)

Kristine: We've done that in years past too.  Lots of good family fun.

AHHH Halloween and spooky events....they are really so much fun. This event should be a big success, and I wonder how many will dare check out the barn attic!

What a wonderful localism post supporting the community. You're #1 in my book!

Thanks Roy...have a great day!

A small play on words...love it.  Thanks for the comments Toni.

Rebecca...my husband wants to but I don't like confined spaces so he may have to venture into the attic on his own.

Thanks Cathy...get scared and give back to the community at the same time.  Lots of fun.

Expecting huge crowds Karen.  There is something about being artificially frightened that people seem to like.
