Ashburn Village-the Ashburn Village Community Association

Located at the beginning of the residential section of Ashburn Village, on Courtland Dr., sits the Ashburn Village Community Association (AVCA). When Ashburn Village was a new community, this used to be the Visitors Center.  Today, residents come here when they have questions about the community.  If you're thinking of putting up a fence or a deck, you'd stop here first to pick up the required forms so you can get approval from the Association.  As a REALTOR, I've had several clients not get approval before doing work only to do so when selling.  You'll receive an official letter when you get an approval and I recommend that you hold on to it until you sell in the event that it gets lost in the Association office.

Selling your home?  This is where your REALTOR will go to request the homeowners association documents as well as pick them up.  Once the request is received, AVCA will do an exterior evaluation of your home.  They'll check to make sure your deck, fence and other  items that need approval have them and that the exterior meets the standards of the neighborhood.  If it doesn't, the documents will show any and all violations which need to be corrected prior to closing.

Located behind the Associaton office is a deck overlooking one of the community ponds.  You're allowed to fish here provided you catch and release.  There's a trail too where you can take a walk and enjoy the scenery.  views from the trail
