Wordless Wednesday (almost!): REaDy or not, let's Fall Y'all!
The sights, the smells, the cool evenings that turn to brisk mornings, nature is REaDy to take on Fall, are you?
Look around as nature changes direction, making way for new growth, new beginnings with a new season of promise. Gone are (most of) the frollicking vibrant summer hues as we head toward a muted color palette that exemplifies Autumn.
So get REaDy, let's Fall Y'all!
Geraniums...love the smell. My daughter gave me some that smell like pineapples this year.
I am not ready...but I know its here. Still want to hold on to summer. But this is the time of year I kick myself in the butt and move inventory!!
Wanda, my Geraniums are still doing well and flowering nicely. I love the Fall...the glorious colors and all things that exemplifies Autumn.

Wanda I am not ready for Fall. We didn't get much of a summer up here in WA state this year but boy is mother nature telling us she's ready to switch gears on us. We are noticing all the changes in the flowers, leaves and even the bugs. Thank you for sharing your photo. Have a wonderful day!

I love the fall as it is my favorite time of the year. I am always excited when the leaves turn colors and start falling off the trees. I am hoping for a wet fall as we need the rain here in southern California. Have a nice day.
It was cooler earlier this month, but we seem to be having our "indian summer" now... I know what comes next ;(
Christa, Our Fall is still warm but cooler evenings! And we also have flowers year' round!

If Athena hadn't eaten everything in our backyard, I would check to see if fall had arrived there. Guess I will have to go out and check some other yards.

Wanda, I love Geraniums. They were my first plant and from that one plant I made many cuttings and we had Geraniums everywhere. I still love them. I have 4 big and old bushes of them. I've pruned them and they are still going strong. Fall will keep them going until December. Thanks for the beautiful shot and yes...let' have that Fall come. Great post!
Gene, We are getting rain and cooler temps and the mornings are crisp!
Jeanean, The are gorgeous and their vibrant color is amazing! They are loving this change in temperature as well.
