Historic Homes for sale in Tucson

By
Real Estate Agent with Las Cruces Homes and Land

There are times that, as I'm driving or walking around historic neighborhoods in Tucson that I am absolutely blown away by the architecture and the work that owners have done to these gems.  Tucson was established in 1775 so, yes, we have many old and beautiful homes.

For Example:

Rubi House Tucson Arizona

This is the Rubi House, built in 1907 for a state senator. It's on the market $1.499 million.  The sellers have painstakingly restored the home as well as updated it where it was needed.

This home is in the heart of downtown Tucson, on 12th Street.

Sam Hughes Historic Homes Tucson Arizona

(This home is no longer on the market 3/29/13)

Sam Hughes is an older established neighborhood with some of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen!  This one was built in 1926 and again, it's current owners have 'brought it back'.

This neighborhood is one of the only ones in Tucson that has successfully held its value over the last few years.

Drachman Home Tucson Arizona

(This home is no longer on the market. 3/29/13)

When we talk about historic figures in town, the name Drachman always comes up. This was the family home from 1915 to 1985 and the owners have updated this residence as well.

This is a 'masterpiece' home as I call them - beautiful botanical style gardens in the back, a 4 car garage with a 944 sq ft residence above.

The styles of our historic homes are truly different - adobe/southwest, territorial, east coast influences and more.  One of the things I tell friends who are visiting Tucson is this: bring a camera, comfortable walking shoes and plenty of extra 'chips' for that camera. You're going to need them!

If you're interested owning an historic home in Tucson, Arizona, let's get together and take a look at what's available. This is only the tip of the iceburg!

Ii would be interested in living in any type of historical home that was already revitalized and it was given to me... I am not cheap just broke!

These are just beautiful, Emmary... I really like the first two...the first for the elaborate beauty and the second for it's plain and elegant look.
