It’s all about ME! So many real estate agents think of this as true. It is about their commission, their good listings, their lead generation and systems and they are so wrong. Someone who is focused on the “me” looses out on their capacity to listen to their clients and give them exactly what they want. The “me” agent cares little for anything but themselves and therein lies the problem.
ME is the phrase I define as the Motivation towards Excellence. Each and every day I approach the day with the desire to be excellent. It is true that no one is perfect, but what is wrong with trying to be excellent. Listening well to your clients goals and dreams gives you the road map to helping them achieve their success. Developing this each and every day allows you to focus outside the “me” to the clients and this is all the client needs and wants.
Motivation is a great word. If you are not motivated to help and to achieve for your clients you will be like so many agents who just list a property and pray. You are like the buyers agent who shows properties outside the stated price range hoping to entice a client to a higher level of purchase than they stated. What is wrong with agents like this? This is rhetorical. I know what is wrong, LOTS.
By focusing on you and your needs I know that I have a much higher chance of satisfying you. In this way I have a much higher chance of you sharing your good fortune with your friends and family which will end up being good for me. Every day I am focused on ME, meaning I am motivated to excellence that brings real value to my clients. In the end all that is really important is YOU. And that is why my card state’s unequivocally, “It’s all about you” I mean this from the bottom of my heart and the focus of my life and career.
