"That's OK I will do it myself" ...

There are many situations if life when we ask for help from others with just about everything in life. From family decisions, Real Estate, writing a book, cooking, working on our vehicles, starting a business, investing money, etc.

What I have found out it is OK to get help from others for simple things, but when it comes to bigger projects ... well, it's better to do it ourselves. For the most part it will get done, done right and with less complications.

I know the feeling.  As professionals, we're supposed to find people we trust, and delegate for all but the most critical tasks - what we're expert at.  I'm still working on learning to delegate.

VB- I hear you, but I think you might be "wrong"  gasp.  Perhaps it's better to not turn the control over to someone else..... it's always good to get help from others.   Pointing is GOOD.  Plus you can point to FAR more things at a time than you can do.  I'm a BIG delegator, and when I do delegate, I let them take it and RUN, yet there are some things that I still keep my finder on the pulse.

VB, what a beautiful photo! Asking for help is very hard for me to do. It's not that I don't want the help, I just feel like I'm imposing or have no right to ask.

I like what you have to say on the topic.

VB! Don't you wish you could clone yourself? If I had about 5 of me maybe everything could get done. If we had 5 of you I would have to order 1...lol.

I hear you,  I feel that way as well...  Sometimes it is mcuh more hassle to get the help in the first place the task could have been done a lot quicker by myself... Have a great day

So true, but why is that?  Good help is hard to find but it shouldn't be.  Thanks for the post, I felt like I was the only one feeling like that!

I kind of agree, but I also kind of disagree. I want to be in charge of the big projects, to supervise them, but there's simply no way that I can do them myself. I need help, but I'm certainly going to direct that help.
