With the weather getting so nice now I try to take a break from the office, computer, and phones at lunch time.  Last week I went to one of the local parks in Bastrop.  Fisherman's Park.  On the way I stopped and picked up a sandwich.  One of the great local restrauntsi n the area is  The Roadhouse. They have great food!  (And if you can't head to the park they have a great patio where you can sit under an umbrella and enjoy the day).Roadhouse restaurant in Bastrop

a well maintained grassy bank where we humans can go down to visit (and feed) the resident geese and ducks that are there year round.   It is a lovely spot to spend a part of your day alone, with family and friends, or with a large group.

My picnic lunch was a definite stress buster!  Sometimes we are so focused on selling our areas, we forget to enjoy them ourselves!

Even though it is getting hot this summer Fisherman's Park is still an awesome place to go to unwind!
