The August 2011 Unemployment numbers are in. Great news! There are 34,400 more jobs than last year AND our unemployment rate is 7.6% while the national unemployment rate is 9.1%. Utah rates 19th in the nation - that's not as good as some, but definitely better than many (some states over 12% unemployment rates).
