Women's Health & Fitness Day

Women provide most of the health care for their families but for some reason neglect to take proper care of themselves.  With a hectic way of life, that includes children, job, husband, elderly parents, pets, grocery shopping, etc., etc., etc., it is so easy to let your physical and emotional health slip and slide, but that is the wrong road or slope, to go down.

Taking care of yourself first is an absolute must!  Think of it this way, a car without gas will not go anywhere.  Neither will you if you do not take time to refuel.

So invest in yourself by acquiring the skills to stay fit and to promote a physical and emotional self.  These are investments that will pay you back.  It starts now as we observe Women's Health & Fitness Day today.

Dee, I don't know how popular they are or if they still sell the "heavy hands" for use while walking.  I saw a lady out there today using them properly in her stride.  A simple way to kick up your walk a notch or two.  I always liked the ease with which you could add or subtract to their weight.  An excellent simple design.

Oh Dee so many of us gals don't remember to take care of ourselves on a regular basis.  And like you said...it's so important!

Hi Dee, thanks for this reminder!  It is so easy to put off the "taking care of me time."  Then I, I mean we, end up finding ourselves so exhausted that we really aren't helping anyone.

Thanks to this post, I think that I'm going to try to build some health and fitness time into my schedule next month.

Kevin,
I take it that you exercise to get the thought process and body working?

Anna,
I wonder why we and so many of us, all of us actually, put ourselves last?  In this aspect we really need to care for our physical self first, in order to take care of others.

Sondra,
I'm so glad I was able to help, and thank you for adding me as an associate.
