Wordless Wednesday - He finally didn't see me coming
Not too far from my thinking spot, I've tried numerous times to catch the guy on camera. Finally something had his attention long enough for the shutter to open and close before he saw. I need a quicker camera so I can catch him in flight. Such a majestic bird. Lives right at the base of Peters Mountain in Dauphin County.

That is awesome. I love eagles they are fierce, majestic, powerful and truly a great symbol for America (maybe more of old than now) but still very cool shot!

Thank you all for the comments. He is standing on a rock that is usually quite a bit more exposed. The river is much higher than normal with all the flooding we've been having.
Melissa: That's really quite interesting....they are usually reclusive and don't allow us to see them often!
There are a couple that live in this area and I see them all of the time, but I never have the camera ready when I do see them. Just finally got lucky :-)
