Halloween Safety

Halloween is just a few days away. Please take the time to think about the safety of your children and pets.

If your little one is going trick or treating, make sure they have a flashlight or clothes with reflective strips. It is hard to see kids at night and they are so excited running from house to house, they do not look both ways before crossing the streets.

Walk with your children, do not let them go alone. Even the older children can get in trouble. Stay with a group, and only go in neighborhoods you live in. Scary things can happen. Be CAREFUL!

Check all the candy and goodies when you get home. Do not let the children eat anything you have not looked over, for signs of being tampered with, We live in a scary world right now, with lots of food recalls, and crazy people out there..do not trust homemade items!!

If you do not have a neighborhood to trick or treat in, go to the local mall, fire station or local business. This would be a safe choice.

Most important is to HAVE FUN, STAY SAFE, AND WATCH YOUR KIDS AND PETS!!

Hey there Sherri,

We just got home from our mountain trip just in time last night to participate in Haloween. We put the cats in the back room, and this year I actually put for sale signs across the front of my home to discourage parking on my lawn and breaking my sprinklers again. I even got a few people asking about what I wanted for the house. When they get older, I've got some clients.    Nice posts, hope you had a nice one too!!!
