Today Redfin released our Agent Scouting Report giving everyone access to over a million real estate agent's deal history and stats. And not just numbers, but all their deals mapped too. Our blog has the full story, Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword.

My favorite coverage of the feature is 1000watt's, Redfin releases Scouting Report, the most disruptive online real estate play in years:

But let’s be clear: this is a big deal. In fact, I can’t think of another online real estate development in the past three years that is quite this disruptive. Selling ads around listings and getting a gazillion uniques is not inherently disruptive. It simply moves marketing dollars and rattles the value chain a bit. This is something of a different order.

So, you ARE going to average out Redfin's sales by the number of agents you employ, and not just credit all the sales to your team leads, which would substantially skew the data, right?? Because according the the NWMLS you currently employ 84 agents in greater Seattle, but all sales and listings are attributed to your "team leads," of which there are, what, 20? Can't find that info. published on the site anywhere, which is kinda ironic, considering there's a heading on the agent page that says "We give you the whole story,"

From what I ahve read about redkin- I am happy that you have not yet hit Missouri- I hope you get all of the kinks workied out prior to moving to my market! And quickly in the ones that you are already in- for the other agents sake!

I have no beef with Redfin. Seems like innovation always gets assulted. If they are doing something wrong or unethical, lets deal with it. Although they are my competitors, I appreciate their attempts to innovate.
