Using Pinterest As An Online Presentation Board

A current design client works in the IT department of a major consulting company. While preparing for an initial presentation, my color printer went down. Agh! What to do?

I'd read about Pinterest here on ActiveRain, and thought this would be a good medium to share with this particular client. So, I tried to sign up only to learn there was an undetermined "wait time". Agh! Then I saw that if you had an invitation, you could get right in!

So I reached out to my fellow 'Rainers! Thanks to our own Rebecca Madej and Melissa Brown, I quickly had the invitation I needed, and started "pinning"!

Here's the initial design board I did for this client's kitchen/great room renovation (It's the board labeled "Maxie".):

She loved the presentation and the whole online idea; we can share it! Let me know if you'd like an invitation!

I'm surprised to see that this blog post was written in 2011. You really had a vision. Now many of us use Pinterest for our listings, but I don't think I used it in 2011.
