 Home sales in the 92211 Zip Code area of Palm Desert jumped nearly 17 per cent in August compared to the same months last year, and the median price rose 6.3% to $270,000 according to Data Quick.

Since September 2010, prices in Palm Desert, California, have risen from a median price of $205,000 to $270,000.
