The Oklahoma Regatta 2011 Festival is a premiere river event featuring an organized series of boat races. The Oklahoma Regatta 2011 Festival will feature Rowing, kayaking, dragon boating, stand up paddle boarding and family fun on the Oklahoma River.
Festivities begin Thursday, September 29 with the VIP Blu Party at the Devon Boathouse. Proceeds from the VIP Blu Party will help Olympic hopefuls in their efforts to compete in the 2012 Olympics.
The Oklahoma Regatta 2011 Festival will continue Friday, September 30th from 6-10pm with the Festival and OG&E Night Sprints featuring:
- Corporate Rowing and Dragon Boat Racing
- USA Rowing World Challenge
- Fireworks
If you can't make it out Friday, September 30th, come out Saturday, October 1st and enjoy the all day event from 10am to 10pm. The Oklahoma Regatta 2011 Festival will feature live music and entertainment, a children's play area complete with a rock climbing wall, remote control boats and other fun filled activities ($5.00 charge for unlimited play), zip line for the adults ($10.00 charge/unlimited), beer and wine garden and outdoor market.
Saturday, October 1 will begin the day long Oklahoma Regatta 2011 Festival with live music and entertainment, a children's area ($5.00 bracelet for unlimited play) complete with rock climbing wall, inflatable toys, remote control sailboats. For the big kids, a.k.a. adults, unlimited access to a zip line for $10.00. Expect racing throughout the day with fireworks capping off the evening!
Sunday, October 2nd events run from 8am to noon.
