It is Raining on the East Side of the North Cascades

Wow, raining on the East side of the North Cascades in beautiful Winthrop Washington. What a treat.

As I gaze out the window of the Mazama Windermere Real Estate Office, I can see the early signs that fall is here. The stunning purple of the walls of Flag mountain and Lucky Jim Bluff are accented by golden vegetation creating a striking backdrop to the main artery in and out of the Methow Valley, State Route 20.  Soon the trees will turn golden, accented by reds, purples and oranges of the diverse ecosystem we enjoy here in beautiful Methow Valley.  The Larch trees will begin to turn that amazing fire orange which makes fall hiking such a treat.Early Fall in Mazama Washington
