Hi Colonel, I'm glad you came through when you did. We are in the midst of our second big snowstorm of the season as I write this... and it's a whole different kind of beauty!
Brenda , as I was pouring the milk into my cereal today I noticed your picture on the milk carton. Where have you been, it's a good life?
The snow arrived today, and looks like it's gonna stay for awhile. Guess I better wax the snowboard and get with the winter program!

Brenda, even though you are in the middel of a snow storm you have these beautiful photos to look at and know you will see again.
I don't like winter, so like you I enjoy looking at photos from past blooms. I also buy at least a dozen paperwhite bulbs, which will bloom indoors by a sunny window. Hyacinths will too, but not as nicely as they'll bloom outdoors in my experience.
Hi Rebecca, Fortunatley, the snow storm blew on through.... leaving us with just the cold wind. You're right, the pictures are a nice reminder of mild temperatures that will come again...
