A “snap pack” mailer is a highly effective direct mail piece that has a HUGE open rate because it’s mean to look important, secure and confidential. The IRS uses this to send refund checks from Uncle Sam. This pressure snap pack mailer is perforated on three sides for easy and official opening.

Let’s face it. We all judge a book by its cover. And a distressed homeowner that is falling behind on their mortgage payment by the face of the mail piece. A snap pack begs to be noticed, opened and investigated – it creates a sense of urgency that other mail pieces cannot.

Hi Brandon, I do understand your point but I have to respectfully disagree. I get terribly annoyed by all the junk I receive that is made to look "official". I hate having to deal with it just to double-check that it really is junk. It's a sneaky, sleezy form of advertising and I would never want my name associated with that. Just look at the companies who do use it ... no Thank you.

Brandon, I just read your blog about using the Express Envelope and I like that much better!

I appreciate your insight, Andrea. The very fact that most consumers are besieged with junk is what makes the snap pack so powerful - it smashes through the clutter. 90+% of the battle is getting your message read.
