Redfin: Cease and Desist
Remember the old adage, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is,"? That's exactly what is in force with this new policy at Redfin. We don't have this issue here yet, since they aren't in our area, but not all deals end up on the MLS. For example, if your agent helps you buy a For Sale By Owner property, that sale won't be listed on Redfin's site. To make matters worse, there are no reviews by real people, only a company that is trying to get you to buy or sell with them. Sounds like John Materese needs to intervene in this one!
In short, be smart and don't fall prey to misleading tricks to get your money.

Your "Scouting Report" says I have represented two sellers over the last 12 months and zero buyers. You have the audacity to publish this even though you know your data is incomplete.
Yes, you are indeed missing data. 95% of my business takes place in SONOMA COUNTY and you are reporting NONE of it. Missing data = wrong data. Wrong data = one pissed broker. It isn't any of YOUR business to report MY business in the first place.
You want ruffled feathers? You'll be getting a lot more than that, trust me.
