Hoping eveyone has a great Monday! I was visiting a friend's home in House Springs, MO on Saturday morning. We heard this weird sound - looked outside to see a hot air balloon dropping down between the houses in the subdivision. We first thought they were just travelling low for a tour, but it became evident (when they barely cleared a rooftop) they were in trouble. They landed at the bottom of the hill on a neighbor's front yard. I don't know how they managed to keep from smashing into the house. No one was injured, thank goodness, but the homeowners were pretty surprised when they came out on their front porch. So that was the excitement on Saturday morning.
