What webinar would YOU like to see offered on ActiveRain University?

By
Real Estate Agent with Fathom Realty West Sound WA State 52404

Okay, so the undisputed heavy-weight Rain god, Bob Stewart, asked me to help out a bit with ActiveRain University, and in particular, in helping to create some DYNO-MITE curriculum/webinars to better equip and empower our valued members.

So it dawned me, like some late night ephiphany,.... why not ask our members what THEY want!

Genius, I know. It's a gift. I don't talk about it much. But I digress....

What topics do you feel would be most helpful to you as a real estate professional? It doesn't necessarily have to be something that directly relates to ActiveRain either.

What things are you encountering everyday out in the trenches of real estate warfare that you need help or improvement with?

Brainstorm with me here, people. Lay it on me! We want to create the most powerful, helpful, practical, relevant one-stop shop of real estate related educational resources on the planet, and we're asking YOU to help us!

Let the Brainstorm begin!

Since the "new thing" seems to be social Media, how about some cources going from basic to advanced?

Geez Rich...where are these Rainers.....do they know everything already?

Ok, a couple suggestions....one might me an overview of AR, and what you can do on your profile. (It's probably there, right, and I've not seen it?)

And then outside of Active Rain, I use Microsoft Excel to track my posts and categories so I know what I've posted about or need to post about. I'd love to know more about how to use Excel. That is, if you are going outside of AR itself.

Can hardly wait to see what comes up!

Rich --  Thanks for asking!  If you're asking for off-AR topics, some of us could use a refresher in Powerpoint presentations as many of us may have a need for Powerpoint regardless of what segment of Real Estate we're in  :-)

Hmm, I suspect there are a ton of topics. Writing localism posts or market reports, using powerpoint, editing videos, AR guidelines, copyright guidelines. I'll give it some more thought.

I think the video editing is a good one along with why videos are becoming so key. Also, having a "team approach" for certain topics, like a home stager and a photographer give key points and photos on why staging and photography (with tips) is so vital for getting your first showing (online on MLS). Thanks for reaching out to members Rich!

Why should I buy/use an I pad?

Would love to understand geotagging

I still haven't graduated from Blogging 101 yet, anything to do with understanding and helpful tips would be wonderful for me! And, wouldn't it be great if we could get "credits" towards our CE's....(I know, that's hoping for way too much :)

I would like to see a series of webinars that tackle the different areas of your blog site and that mentions the many possible choices therein. Oh, and a webinar that lasts longer than an hour to cover everything. Sometimes the hour goes by so fast and everyone is rushed.

Great idea to poll.....I'd like to see course(s) on blogging.  Basic to advanced....I think most of us have self taught and I'm sure I've only scratched the surface and/or picked up some bad habits that are NOT providing me the best techniques.  THANKS!!!!
