Biltmore Estate - Asheville, NC - Some say that the Biltmore Estate is home to a ghostly woman's voice while others say that the late George Vanderbilt is the resident ghost. Surely the largest house in America has to have a few spooky things in it's past!
Carolina Inn - Chapel Hill, NC - Legend has it that Dr. William Jacocks, a long-time resident of the Carolina Inn haunts repeatedly locks residents out of the room he inhabited for the 17 years prior to his death in 1965.
Grove Park Inn - Asheville, NC - Visits often hope to get a glimpse of the 'pink lady' who is said to materialize as an appartition inside the hallways of the inn. The ghost is said to be of a woman who died at the inn in the late 1910's or early 1920's. She reportedly is found of childish pranks like locking doors and flickering lights.
Horace Williams House, Chapel Hill, NC - This beautifully restored and maintained historic house is said to be haunted by the late owner, professor Horace Williams. Several people have claimed that chairs have rocked by themselves, fire utensils have moved from one side of the fireplace to the other, and some have even reported conversations with the ghost!
Mordecai Park - Raleigh,NC - Many people have reported the ghost of a woman, believed to be Mary Willis Mordecai Turk, descending down the stairs of this historic home and enter one of the front rooms. Investigations in the sightings and other phenomenon have confirmed that their very well may be paranormal phenomenon there!
